Neil Szanyi
CDR, USN. Chairman of the Board of Directors
Neil is an active duty Naval Submarine Officer, currently serving as the Tactical Development Officer on the staff of Commander Submarine Force, US Pacific Fleet in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. He lives in Kailua with his wife, Sue and son, Quinn. He was introduced to horses by Sue and has been riding and caring for horses for over 20 years. His riding background includes both English and Western experience at stables in seven states and Italy. He has some Western competition experience in Georgia and has been playing polo with the Honolulu Polo Club in Waimanalo since 2007. He has been serving in various capacities with THH since 2004 including volunteer, bookkeeper, and Treasurer prior to becoming Chairman of the Board of Directors in 2008. |
Kelly Brazeal
NARHA Registered Instructor
Kelly found THH by attending the Keiki Rodeo in 2007 & she was intrigued by the idea of using horses as a therapy tool for children & adults. She started volunteering in June of 2007, and was instantly in love with the program. In 2008, she pursued her teaching certification for NARHA and became a Certified NARHA Instructor in October 2008. To love a horse is happiness, to share and teach your love of horses with others is greater than anything I could've ever dreamed! |  |
