Horses' Bios

Riley

is our POA! He moved here from the mainland too. His previous owner gave him the nickname “Tempest in a teapot” and we think that’s pretty accurate!

Mickey

traveled all the way from Illinois with Ace & Mikey to become a part of our program! A registered 6 year old Haflinger who is VERY smart and comes up with lots of funny tricks! Look for Mick in the Haflinger Drill Team.

Soona Theraputic Horsemanship of Hawaii

Mikey

also made the long journey from Illinois last year. He is a Haflinger / Welsh cross and won many awards for pulling carts in his home town.

Sunshine

is a Mustang! She used to live at Koko Crater stables, but when her owner went off to college, she came here to live with us. She is a fast and athletic horse with a personality as sweet as her looks!

Soona

This is is our very favorite Welsh Pony! He has been with the program for a very long time, and is one of the hardest workers in the herd!

Palaka

Palaka has been with THH since she was a four year old! Her mischievous sense of humor keeps everyone on their toes, but when it’s time to work, she really gets the job done!!

Scrubs

is our little Ptangus pony. Don’t let
her small size fool you . . . She’ll give polo ponies a run for their money! She is a sweet little girl who works very hard for our program.

Ace

traveled all the way from Illinois to become a part of our program! A registered 6 year old Haflinger, we look forward to working with him for a very long time!

Tammi

has the longest eyelashes in the whole herd. She is a 22 year old Haflinger with a temperament as sweet as her face! She has done a wonderful job with us so far.

Sweetie

used to be a racehorse. Nobody believes this, but if you look in her mouth, she has the tattoos to prove it! She’s got a slower job with us, however, she still likes to go out for a run now and then
