Therapeutic Horsemanship of Hawaii is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that depends on the support of the community to keep in operation. Here are some ways you can support our program:
Donate on our Website or Facebook Page
Keeping our amazing horses healthy and happy so that they can do the important job they do is very expensive. We make sure they get the best care and feed, which especially in Hawai’I, can take a great deal of money. Your cash donation is tax deductible and goes to support the maintenance of our equines and our facility.
Provide a scholarship
While we try to keep our riding session as low cost as possible, there are still families that cannot afford to pay for riding sessions. Providing a scholarship for riders allows them to experience the benefits of therapeutic riding. Scholarships can be purchased at the barn or on the website.
Capital Improvement Donors
We work hard to keep our facility and our equine staff in the very best shape in order to provide safe and effective therapeutic riding sessions. We need help with major projects to keep up with the maintenance of our facility. Donating money or labor to these projects allows us to maintain our Accredited facility.
Horse Show & Country Fair Fundraiser
Our annual Horse Show event allows our riders to show off their skills and provides some fun activities and entertainment to the community. We have pony rides, face painting, bounce house, food, shave ice, kids games and other fun stuff. We look for sponsors to help raise funds for this event. Please consider being involved in our next one by sponsoring the event!
Christmas Fundraiser
This dinner features a raffle, silent auction and entertainment for everyone. Held at the Polo Field Clubhouse, this annual event helps to keep our program in operation during the slowdown of the rainy Holiday season. Consider a cash, silent auction or raffle donation to support this event!
