Keiki Rodeo
Every year in May, we hold our Special Keiki Rodeo. This event showcases the abilities of our riders, our horses and our program. It also features fun for the whole family, including emcee and Country Music personality, Charley Garrett, a petting zoo, food, shave ice, pony rides and great stuff for sale. This event is our annual fundraiser, and many businesses, families and individuals contribute to make our program and this event a success!

Summer Camp
Therapeutic Horsemanship of Hawaii offers weeklong day camps during the summer months. Campers arrive at 8:30 a.m., go catch their own horse, groom, saddle and ride until lunch time. After lunch, riders either saddle up again, or hang around the barn, learning to stamp leather, design shirts, or how to make a "paint" horse out of a regular one!!! Kids learn from horses, without an instructor standing there directing their every move. They learn their limits and the limits of their horses. They enjoy their world in the company of a horse, and gain incredible strength and riding ability from just having time to RIDE. Contact Dana for availability and information.

Fence Work Day
Over twenty volunteers donated their time and muscle to completely rebuild THH's fences in one grueling day. With large tools in hand they tore down about 1/4 mile of old wire fence, cleared out an acre of land (including some large dead trees), installed new panel fencing for paddocks, and added a small arena. The difference was staggering, significantly improving our ability to provide quality services and maintain our animals in the best conditions possible.
