Riding Grooming Horse Care Saddling Arts & Crafts

Therapeutic Horsemanship of Hawaii has fifteen horses and ponies at it’s beautiful facility in Waimanalo. Our staff has decades of combined horse experience. Your child will enjoy a low stress, fun and educational environment, building strength, both physically and mentally while they build a relationship with our animals. You will see their self-esteem sky-rocket as they learn many wonderful skills. $350 per session. Discounts for multiple sessions or campers. Campers MUST be physically and emotionally able to ride independently. Campers must be at least 8 years of age. Camp is limited to twelve riders per session, payment must be made to reserve a session. Please see full rules and regulations for camp.

Rules and Regulations

  1. Payment is due upon sign up for camp. No shows will be billed.
  2. Campers must be at least 8 years of age
  3. Campers may not be dropped off earlier than 8:15 am. Campers must be picked up by 2:45 pm unless special arrangements are made.
  4. Campers must be physically and emotionally able to ride independently.
  5. Campers must be physically and emotionally able to follow
    directions of camp staff at all times. Failure to follow directions will result in the removal of the camper from camp to ensure the safety of others.
  6. Campers must be of at least intermediate riding level. Campers who are not in lessons with THH already must show that they are capable of riding independently. Riders who are not able to show intermediate riding level must take at least four riding lessons prior to the start of their camp session.
  7. Campers must bring their own lunch and beverages.
  8. Sunscreen is advisable for campers.
  9. Legal guardians of all campers must sign waiver release forms and medical consent forms for all riders.
  10. Payment of fees for summer camp must be made in advance and campers will not be reserved until payment is received.
  11. Refund policy if a camper is injured or sick, camp fees will be refunded for the period of camp that is not attended. If a camper is asked to leave camp for not following any of the above rules, there will be no refund. Not attending camp for any reason other than illness or injury will not be refunded.
